Drawing Down the Blood Moon Pocket Zine (Digital Download)

This zine is a single sheet print-ready PDF document that folds into an 8-page mini pocket zine. It includes different options for pregnancy release, at-home pregnancy release, self-care, and a page of resources/hotlines.

In the nature of Zines, this pocket-zine is meant to be dispersed within local communities by other Reproductive Justice Activists and full-spectrum birthworkers/doulas (with credit given), and is available here on our Gumroad where we request a donation of at least $1 for personal use or $5-$10 for community-based outreach and mutual aid work-- it is an included 'perk' for Paid Subscribers on our Substack (like a Patreon).

What is "Pregnancy Release"?

I coined the term Pregnancy Release in 2013 to be an inclusive, stigma-free reclamation of our full-spectrum alternative pregnancy outcomes as womb-bearing Beings in a time of great threat to our Reproductive Rights. It includes miscarriages, in- and out-of-clinic as well as “self managed” termination experiences, and late-stage loss, and is representative of a holistic, wellness-minded and spiritually-centered approach to the experiencing and 'management' (as care providers and support persons) of these full-spectrum reproductive experiences. I have been interviewed for multiple podcasts and been published in Squat Birth Journal discussing Holistic Pregnancy Release.

My first publication within my very first reproductive health-based business and apothecary, 13 Moons of Matrescence, as a young full-spectrum doula and student midwife, in regards to this work was my E-book "Rituals & Meditations for Pregnancy Release" which has been available for digital-download on Etsy for almost ten years, and is also now available in its original form (with an updated version in the works) here on Gumroad. This mini-zine was my second related publication, in 2017, and is the precursor to a book by the same name that is still in the writing-phase.

I also provide one-on-one Holistic Pregnancy Release Support for those undergoing a Pregnancy Release, and Holistic Pregnancy Release Support/Doula trainings and mentorship for those interested in this work.
